DoCoMo fights Phone Scams

These calls bug me as they always seem to happen at 2am and wake me up!!

Has any FG called them back and used the "service"?

Instead of Docomo, going to such lengths as programming new phones not to ring if there is only one ring etc., why don't they just shut down the wangiri companies. Everyknows what they are up to, can't someone pull the plug so to speak. I don't think this would continue for very long in North America, or that may be wishful thinking.

This sounds like the guy who just rang me [/u]AT 1.30AM from Hong Kong about my satisfaction with my PC aaand would I like to give him my credit card details to buy a realy realy cheap one from his company well he rang me, in Australia from Hong Kong? so I told him at length why I wouldn't like to do so, politely as he was also polite but suggested a check of the time zones would also be a very good idea. Who is he trying to kid
