I think I hate Windows XP

Postby canman » Sun Sep 29, 2002 10:00 pm

Can anybody help me. Frim what I have gathered from the F*cked Gaijin site there at least a few computer savy people. Anyway I just purchased and installed the Windows XP Upgrade, home edition, now I have no sound, and my DVD player won't play. I continue to get a screen telling me that my DVD player needs to be updated, and when I go to the site, they want me to buy some new player. I have cinemaster 99 and was just trying to find an update. About the sound thing, I can't figure it out. I've gone to windows update page and downloaded all the updates including the one for my sound card Soundblaster live, but still no sound. The other thing is that this pig is as slow as hell. What ever happened to fast and reliable. Anyway I appreciate any help you have to share.

As for the DVD player, if your system is software only (not sure about your setup... what DVD player do you have?) I would strongly suggest PowerDVD... very good customer support, awesome software. Just search google for PowerDVD for more information. ;)
