Basically it is a very useful English-Japanese dictionary that also allows you to look up and review kanji. It includes:
- Japanese to/from English Dictionary
- multi-radical kanji lookup, plus lookup by reading, meaning, or SKIP index
- create, print, import, and export custom vocabulary lists
- customizable digital flash cards study tool
- quiz mode study tool, with adjustable difficulty and style
- view conjugations for all Japanese verbs and adjectives
- shows kanji stroke order with animation
- search using romanji, kanji, and/or kana
After playing with it, I am really impressed, and find it very useful for learning Japanese and doing translation. I especially like the multi-radical tool, which is very handy for inputting unknown kanji and looking it up. You can even import JLPT material and tests into the software and use it as a learning aid.
Anyway, I am very impressed; I can't believe its free!

I do hope that the authors ports this software to PDA's and smart phones, such as Windows Mobile and/or IPhone/IpodTouch, since it would be handy to have in my pocket.
If anyone tries it, please let me know what you think about it.
