I bought a Used Siliva and need advice on tuning

Postby Big Booger » Thu Jul 03, 2003 12:18 pm

Well the car comes in a week or so and I need advice on tuning. I think it is an S14 SR20DET but it could be an S15. I need some sites or shops in the kansai area that cater to tuning. I'd prefer to order the parts online (discounted or cheap) and then take them to a shop and having them installed.

I've poured over the autobacs site but they are rather limited in their stock. I'm looking for things like K&N cold air filter systems, Cat back exhaust systems, HKS turbos, Tanabe springs, struts, etc, and so on.

ANyone can recommend a shop that deals in these goods, that is Engrish friendly?

It's my first turbo-charged car, and my first step into rice :D
Thanks

My shop....not. Dang, I forgot I like my rice in a bowl.

Besides, that was my friend's HARTGE shop in Kawaski until the Bubble popped. If you asked me the end of March of this year, one of the Rice Boy tentants of my landlord/friend went out of business. I could have got a great deal.

Why the hell don't you know if you're getting an S14 or an S15?!

Where are you located? Just figure out where all the drifters chill on saturday nights and go make some friends. Im sure they'll point you in the right direction.

I think it is an S14, S14a, or S15.. not sure.. didn't think to ask. In fact I didn't even know they were labeled until after I got home.. and went to a website. :D

It looks decent that is what attracted me to the car. the number or name I could care less..
I just knew it was a Nissan Silvia.

I have since found a site:
http://www.greenline.jp

They specialize in the parts that I am looking for.
:D
