Blaster trouble for Cisco Equipment too

Postby GargoyleTS » Fri Aug 15, 2003 12:10 am

The Register is running a story I thought may be relevant to a person or 2 here, and if you know anyone else who uses Cisco Equipment, please pass it along to them. Apparently the worm is also deadly to Cisco in a similar manner to the Code-Red virus, just a little harder to get it if behind firewalls. Cisco has over 2 DOZEN items that may need patching. Details here:

http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/5/32340.html

Hope people get patching before the coders get this virus re-targeted to get these vulns specifically.
