But how's it taste? :)

Seriously though, I know once it's made into a polymer it's inedible, but some corn-derived products aren't. Ever seen corn starch packing peanuts? Edible. They just dissolve in your mouth. Not the tastiest things in the world, but dip 'em in some ketchup and they're better than many of the super-processed snack foods available today.

(Yes, I've done this. I used to do it to freak out customers when I worked at B. Dalton books a long time ago. Not with the ketchup though - just snack on 'em right out of the boxes of new books.)
More caustic. Less saint.

Thats so funny I used to do the exact same thing when I worked for GAME in the UK. I also used to make a big spit into a box full of them and make a ball and put it in the microwave to harden. Boredem, eh?

Hey,
Now AOL can legitimately send out more cds because they Biodegrade LOL

I actually would pay more for a biodegradable CD.. just to help the environment.

Unfortunatly AOL will send out more CD's legitimately or otherwise. People like time warner complaining about piracy, and the say th ecost of production is a large part of the cost. I f*cking doubt it. How many AOL CDs have I gotten in the last few years(actualy around 5 a week)

I probably should collect them as evidence or as handy coasters as ilustrated here.

Dude, where's my corn?

Postby bejiita » Tue Jul 13, 2004 5:51 am

Sanyo has delayed the launch of corn-based optical disc technology. Sanyo blamed this delay on jiffy-pop difficulties when the disc was exposed to heat greater than 50 degrees Celsius.

While the disc can theoretically be eaten, it is coated by a 0.1-millimeter (0.004-inch) thick layer of resin and is too hard for even the strongest teeth
