RIP: World's Largest indoor Ski-jo
.... SSAWS Ski Dome just outside of Tokyo. The disassembly is almost complete, and most of the activity at the site seems to be the last stages of clean up..... ImageSee the full-size picture atLem Fugitt's blog.

I'm happy to say I made it there four times before they closed... awesome place, but the fake snow was pretty rough when you fell.

Yeah, it's hard to understand why someone would pay $30+ for rentals at a fake snow place, when for $100 more you can head up to real snow in Niigata or Nagano.

I did make it to Wild Blue before it shut down, though. It kinda sucked.


Wild Blue REALLY sucked: you had to line up for 30-40 minutes to body board 10 meters. Arrrrg.
