Talking Panda Phrasebooks for iPod

Postby Steve Bildermann » Tue Jun 29, 2004 1:26 pm

Talking Panda provides phrasebooks with over three hundred commonly used words and phrases for Spanish, French, and Japanese.

For $10 per language, you can download them to your iPod, and get native language-spoken audio files to go along with each phrase, so even if you mangle the pronunciation, you can play the phrases to the person you're trying to speak to. It's just for Mac now, but a Windows version is coming soon.

Each translator comes stocked with over 300 phrases.
    Categories include:
Getting Directions, Dining, Making Friends, and Entertainment, just to name a few.
Audio files created by native speakers provide proper pronunciation for all included phrases.
    Windows version coming soon.
Installing Talking Panda will create a numbered backup of your current notes, accessible when the iPod is mounted.

I just got it 8O

Yesterday (about 12 hours ago) somebody (was it AK maybe) over in chat said something about me making money from 'that translation thing you are selling'

I just realized he was talking about this post I made yesterday. God I'm so fuckin s-l-o-w-. Just shows you what these meds do to you.

ANYWAY....

This translation thing has nothing to do with me I just thought it would be handy for the many Ipod owners who also want to hear/learn Japanese.

I don't sell anything on the Internet. The only thing I can do these days is help promote Chisato and hang around here. Sorry for any confusion.

Back to normal programming
