Martha Steward - the Japan version

I'm a tidy but rather undemanding kind of guy when it comes to the elegant side of life. If it's simple and it works then it's good enough for me.

For example I deeply admire how long the Russian space station MIR managed to stay in orbit (despite several catastrophic incidents) simply because it was built for raw functionality not technical sophistication.

Gimme a hammer not a scalpel. Tim Allen would be proud of me.

Chisato on the other hand is a 'home improvement' kind of gal.

With that thought in mind and in an attempt to raise the aesthetic conciousness around here I give you....

Thanks, but for the 7,350 that those calculators cost I think I'll keep my aesthetic consciousness right where it is. :)

Plus, my 2000 scientific calculator from Yodobashi Camera has scads more functions and I like its plain black color scheme so much more.
