Thank you Steve! I didn't know about that Yahoo Cafe. Free = Good.

For those with wireless capabilities and a few spare yen, there is a even more coverage throughout Narita. Narita Airport Official Web Site: Internet Facilities has some information and maps.

In many of the gate seating areas plus airline lounges, for a fee (about 500 yen if I remember) you can get unlimited access for 24 hours. Just fire up your web browser and you get redirected to a page that lets you choose from 2-3 service providers.

I used the coffeeshop access area (#1). It has a nice spot for three laptop users. I believe I only saw the option to pay per hour (600 yen), not per 10 minutes.

Kansai Airport has free wired and WiFi access points all over the airport.

BTW, Narita is using Nomadix to authenticate users, so those in the know: have fun

Also, there is access for T-Moble/iPass users in that cafe as well. Their pricing/access rules apply.
