TOKYO (AFP) - Japanese dog lovers will get to see the world from the perspective of their pets with a digital camera attached to their companions' collars. ... Toy maker Tomy Co. Ltd. will launch the 38-gram (1.3 ounce) "Wonderful Shot" on Friday at a cost of 9,240 yen (87 dollars).
It can take pictures by using a remote control, letting owners "enjoy pictures from dogs' view," the company said. Or owners can put on a time switch taking pictures at intervals of one minute to one hour.

Another useless Japanese gadget.
You will probably get motion sickness watching the picture bounce around when the camera moves. Need a doggy steadycam setup.
But, like most dogs he will stop and lick is balls for 10 minutes and that's something I don't want to see close up...

I'm sure the view of poochie sniffing other dogs butts will also be outstanding.

Beside "fetching" cute college girls* on command, my dog sniff a lot of girls crotches too.

It's just the Springer Spaniel instinct and dogs pick up the idea of what their master is really interested in being fetched. Herding dogs like my border collie learned the herd entire groups of girls towards me in college.

Here in Tokyo, I always dognap my friend's daschund and just park myself at a sidewalk cafe in Daikanyama...that yields at least 20 girls an hour.
