Keio University's intensive Japanese Program??

Ok so I have been selected and have paid my tuition to attend Keio uni's 1 year Intensive Japanese program. I have a comfortable command of the language and passed the ikkyuu early this year. I was wondering if anyone has had ANY kind of experience with the program at Keio U. I really cant find people on the web who have and am looking for any kind of advice/review relating to the program. Also has anyone recieved their internal scholaship? I just graduated college and am not eligible for all the usual scholarships people recieve when they go to a Japanese university. Thanks!

It must be nice to Bill Gates' l0vechild and be able to afford to spend 4-billzillion yen/year to learn bagbiting Japanese that consists of nothing but vague hints. :P

Keio is a great place, the girls are cute and many speak engrish. However, Keio's educational price/performance f0r a intensive Japanese program is poor. You're language needs would better served in a content-based learning environment as a provisional student at a cheaper regional Japanese college ---away fr0m Keio's t00 engrish friendly environment and absurd tuition cost structure.

That's just my 3-yen's worth coming fr0m working with Keio's neurobi0logy/linguistics lab for three years on Japan's "5th Generation" computer project (greatest failure in the history of stalinist science).

Yes, I used to know of a Keio undergrad law student who also happened to be a shinjuku hostess. The hottie keio girls are smart and witful, but often snobby as well. I've even seen hotties in their engineering programs

Keio is VERY expensive and they are comparable to the top ivy league schools. That's what you'll get with any private school in Japan. Another example of this could be Waseda Univ. and it's a matter of opinion which is a better school. If the real purpse is to learn Japanese, then there is really no point in going to Keio except for the prestige but we all know you just want to go there to meet chicks
