HEy HEY hEy I've got a question

are credits transferable between American university and Japanese one's?
If could someone give me some advice here. I plan to study here for 2 years then transfer and complete me last 2 yrs there. How can I go about doing this?

I believe so. Contact some universities here and ask them. There should also be someone at your current university who can help you with such things.

Yeah. I've asked a few colleges (Umass, CSUB) about this, and they both have "Study Abroad" departments that help you transfer your credits back and forth between the two universities. Most of the time, it involves having your teachers (or principals) write descriptions of what is teached in the class. And in some cases, you would be required to write about how the class was difficult or easy. But it's definitely worth it.

the program at our school counts credits from official programs as home university credits. anything else takes legwork :P

Thanks ya'll i'll look into to it! one more question here for ya'll. is it possible to live in Japan as a student and only pay about 8-9k (this is aside from the cost of college)

if you had friends you could live with for free.... that paid for your food costs, etc etc. basically treated you like their own child. then i could see it being possible

if not. then i think it depends how long you want to stay. haha
