Japanese Language
The JOY Programme, in addition to offering a wide variety of Japanese language classes at YNU, also offers culture classes. These assist students understand the very different mindset of the youth in Japan and include courses such as:
    1. Enjo Kosai for beginners - "Gucci, Prada and the JOY *uck Club"
    2. Advanced Enjo Kosai - "Jumping for JOY"
    3. Karaoke - "In JOYful strains, then let us sing"
    4. Anime 101 - "Sailor Moon and Seaman Stains"
    5. Train groping - "JOY riding"
    6. J-Police - "JOY Division" and
    7. Aum - "The Joy of Sects"

Just kidding  The real website is here

I'm sure you'll have a ball.

Hey kurohinge1

Maybe your JOY programme is more joyful than theirs :spin: - You should market it

You're right that the real JOY program doesn't seem to have much that would inspire joy... :(

You'll just have to make up for it outside the classroom! Shouldn't be too hard. :)

I'm trying sooo hard to resist posting Third Dog Night lyrics...

Kurohinge's alternate JOY program looks like far more fun, I have to say.

 "Resistance is futile" ...

JOY to the World

Jeremiah was a bull frog
Was a good friend of mine
I never understood a single word he said
But I helped him a-drink his wine
And he always had some mighty fine wine

...

Jeremiah was, of course, Japanese and the wine was rice wine.

I also found this juicy morsel of trivia:

[quote="threedognight.com"]... We ended up signing with Dunhill-ABC Records, but we still needed a name," Wells says.

Hence the famous story about the origin of the name Three Dog Night. It was a phrase used by aborigines in the Australian outback to describe how cold it could get]
