Hey Grom, please login and stay a while.

Nanzan's a great school- 130 foreigners and about 5000 Japanese. The spring semester can be tough because all the Japanese students disappear from February -April, but when april hits, you can join all the clubs and meet plenty of freshmen. One semester's not enough, go for the year.
Your level of Japanese is pretty much what I had at that time, and is a good starting point. Nanzan doesn't have enough language levels, so you may be frustrated by a class that's too easy or too hard.
For more info, post to http://www.japannewbie.com, which is run by another Nanzan alum.
