well i seem to have not really understood the requirements and somehow passed the test.

Same story. Many years ago took the level 2, somehow passed it. Bought one or two level 1 test books, but they migrated to a corner deep in the closet and are fully covered in dust, yellowcake, and cobwebs.

a long time ago i took the level one. or rather it took me.
i was convinced i failed more horribly than anybody in the history of the world. ready to slit my wrists in the deep japanese tub, my results showed up and...lo!......i passed.
so i put down the razor and picked up the champagne.
