2. Yes, but only hit slightly.
3. Mr. Ishida threw a stone at a dog.

I do share your affection for the car though.

You're lucky TIJ...if you lived next to Ford, USA or Chevy, USA and came cruising in your Nissan, it wouldn't last a week ;)

I have it on very good authority that the visitors car park you are directed to, specifically the distance it is from the main entrance of Toyota HQ, is determined by the badge on your vehicle.

Worse, if you work as contractor (outside doctor for example) they reimburse your fuel cost only if you drive one of their Toyopos...

The main Nissan Factory/Warehouse at D-Dock in Yokohama didn't let in any other tractor head other than UD ones until a few years ago. Plus all the workers there drove Nissans, otherwise it was take the bus and don't show that Toyota/Subaru/anything else 'round here.

On the other hand, working around there you got to see the most awesome tuned GT-R's and March's. Plus I got me a spy photo of the (at that time) new R35 loaded on a flatbed, waiting for loading in a container.

The GF (at that time) got to visit their Oppama plant ops and was told that the Zama plant was even better in regards to top-secret stuff. Too bad they take away any electronics before you go in.

Meanwhile Carlos Ghosn in Japan drive a Porsche...

BTW, Nissan Diesel / UD has been property of Volvo since 2007... (therefore retroproperty of Renault, sort of...)
