Region 2 PAL DVDs

I got lots of dvds from UK but i cant play em out here. Anyone know where i can get a player or adapter do do this.
I already asked in many denki shops, they all say no.:(

You can get region free DVD players. Lots of thread on this forum about where to purchase.

I have one that I am wanting to sell - it is not that great but it does the job. Works fine for real dvds. Struggles a bit with cheap nasty ones. Selling cheap - ¥2,000. Interested?

I might be wrong, but aren't Japan and the UK both region 2?

EDIT: Sorry! I just realised PAL not NTSC.
GG's suggestion might be the best for you.

region free players will do the job, but so will a laptop hooked up to your TV if you have one
