Searching Logitech/logicool G25

Postby Coligny » Sat Jan 17, 2009 8:18 pm

Searching desperately a USB steering wheel logitech/ (here logicool) G25. The one with separated shifter and 3rd clutch pedal.
In my hood computer game store stock only their dreadfull porno/hentai crap.

The PS3 version is the same and would be good too.

I'm not searching second hand. I can do with just the adress of a shop having it.

Thanks for any answer.

Logicool's web site does not list the G25 for the PC, only the PS3 version.

No one seems to have the G25 in stock, even Logicool's web store lists it as sold out. It may have been discontinued, or they may just be short of stock. Their web store price is 37,800 though so you will probably find it cheaper (and faster) to buy one from the US and have it shipped over.

Sorry, no idea... I'm not a gamer at all, I just took a minute to check the Japanese vs US info.

Maybe eBay though? This guy wants $100 to ship to Japan which probably isn't too bad considering the likely weight:

where are you currently in Japan? For something like this, you are likely to have to go to a bigger town/bigger store to find it and given the size and expense, it is likely not something that many stores got a bunch of when they came out...and those GT fans can be a fairly rabid bunch, so finding it may not be a super easy job. It sounds like the sort of thing you would find new in a dusty corner of a tiny store in Akihabara or at one of the less traveled electronics/gaming stores, like the Sakura in Shibuya or sofmap in ikebukuro, ie, not the main branch or the biggest store in the area but one of the smaller branches nearby.

It is not in stock at J amazon and its out of stock/out of print at play asia.com (their way of saying to buyers that they shouldn't get their hopes up that they will get any more in) although Amazon in the US has it for about $250 but they generally don't ship videogames overseas due to licencing agreements, but they might not have a problem shipping video game accessories. The shipping cost will be steep, but with the dollar as weak as it is, it might be your easiest and cheapest option.

Even with the shipping fees it's still cheaper than japanese list price...
