apartment guarantor service. company?

Hello,

I may be moving to the Tokyo area soon and I need a guarantor company for an apartment. I tried looking on the internet without much success.

Can anyone recommend a guarantor company that won't rip me off?

Define "rip off"... There's one I used a couple of years back which is specialised in dealing with "problem cases" like being foreign, IIRC they charged 50% of a month's rent annually... I can probably find the info if you're interested.

Yes, that would be very helpful. As I said I tried looking on the internet for apartment guarantor companies, but I was unsuccessful.

So your company is willing to pay your relocation costs and give you 300,000 yen a month for rent but they won't act as your guarantor?? That seems a little strange.
