Internship advice

Postby akatsuka » Tue Feb 06, 2007 8:49 am

I recently set up my own portfolio website and sent it to a couple of design related websites so people could see it. I was mainly focussing it on getting an internship in Japan for the summer.

I got an email today asking me to send some more work to an email address. This is all very normal. But what made me wonder was the company website he gave to me - it wasnt very proffessional. After googling for his company name, I found an alternative, much better website. THe information was slightly different in both websites - such as boss name, address, etc. I'm wondering if it was a bogus email.

As the company was offering me a great opportunity, I dont want to just throw it away as being bogus without being sure.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks
