I'll be staying in Tokyo again this summer with my girlfriend. Me being american, and her japanese, we are trying to figure out how to raise a little spending money without needing a work visa. We are both university students.
Here's what we came up with: we'll put fliers in different wards of the city advertising translation service for $20 a page by native-speaking english and japanese university students. We'll leave an email address for scheduling pick-ups and drop-offs and payment.
Anything sound wrong with this plan? I know it's technically illegal since I have to visa, but do they prosecute that? I'd like to know if anyone has tried something like this, or something similar to raise money.
Thanks!
