Yeah, I have a friend who worked as an AV actor for 5 years, and he said it sucked!

...but seriously, he got treated like shit, and yeah, he got to bang some hot girls I guess, but he also got an ton of STDs, had to do disgusting stuff (if you've ever seen Japanese AVs you should already have an idea) and had to do the nasty with 50+ "actresses" on a regular basis. Of course, I'm sure it's not all bad, but he said that the guys that really get to live the good life are the yakuza involved with the distribution and really who work behind the scenes who get to sleep with the actresses on their own time.

Of course, that job is what netted him the job he has now, as the manager of a fuuzoku which basically means he has to do no work and gets paid major cash.

He's actually a really nice guy. :P
