Eikaiwa advertising???

For those of you teaching Eikaiwa, what have you found to be the best form of advertising? I have hand delivered ads to houses and I have done a little advertising using newspaper inserts. But so far nothing has really impressed me. The response is slow. Also what kind of ads are the best? Is it good to use something funny? Anyone have any advise for a new businessman?
