Personally, I prefer the meishi templates in Adobe Illustrator (yes they have Japanese templates, yes I know Illustrator is expensive). They're easy to edit, and come with little marks to cut them out. You should avoid using those pre-perforated cards, they are difficult to get your cards to print on them perfectly centered, and the ragged edges look crappy. Much better to spend a few minutes cutting your cards with a ruler and an X-Acto knife, using the little crop marks, that gives a professional looking clean edge.

I always thought that was a pretty cool idea.
