I am curious how much yen a FG could expect to earn bartending in Tokyo?

I dont know about all bars. But i had a couple mates that worked at Gaspanic in Yokohama and in ropongi and they got paid stuff all!! like 1000yen p/h (I dont know if that was under the table though). But they were working like 50 hours a week just to get some half decent cash!!

If you are the real deal, a "flair" bartender, you get 2,000yen an hour plus a huge kickbacks that double and triple your wages for milking high rollers and pimping girls. Try contacting the TGI Friday's Bar and Grill locations and Gaspanic. Once you're in town , I could introduce you to JPN managers of TGIF-- they speak English--only if you're a pro.
