I am curious how much yen a FG could expect to earn bartending in Tokyo?

I dont know about all bars. But i had a couple mates that worked at Gaspanic in Yokohama and in ropongi and they got paid stuff all!! like 1000yen p/h (I dont know if that was under the table though). But they were working like 50 hours a week just to get some half decent cash!! :roll:

If you are the real deal, a "flair" bartender, you get 2,000yen an hour plus a huge kickbacks that double and triple your wages for milking high rollers and pimping girls. Try contacting the TGI Friday's Bar and Grill locations and Gaspanic. Once you're in town , I could introduce you to JPN managers of TGIF-- they speak English--only if you're a pro. I've see job ads for bars in Tokyo all the time which specifically ask for WESTERN staff. Start with the want ads in Monday Japan Times and all the regular sources such as...
