Sounds like Apple Japan is off-shoring its jobs to the 3rd World, Texas.

(That rotating tech support job sounds damn nasty, but Austin is a mellow college town and very un-texas place to be. I take the job in a nano-second but I'm not any good at arguing with air-sucking, pre-verbal, bucho types on the phone in Japanese.)

Im waiting to see when they start offshoring Japanese call centers to Northern China where the Korean population can be pretty proficioent in Japanese.
