The release date in Japan for the 2nd lord of the rings film is the slowest of the ~60 countries listed. Nearly a month behind that of the 2nd worst country (Poland)... why is Japan so slow?

Translation time?
Putting Japanese fonts onto celuloid is a bit of an art form..
plus the poor translators get a really bad deal (low flat rate without a cut of the profits) so I guess they are in no hurry.
