Mcdonald's Japan changed Ronald's name to "Donald" in Japan. Why,,,for the same reason why a dog licks his own I guess.

Bizarre. I guess the Katakana's simpler to remember if it's the same word repeated. Donald Mc Donald

Thanks for the edumucation. I think I only entered a Japanese McDonald's once, forced to eat a McBreakfast by a host family against my will.

You know, just seriously..

Ever since I watched Super Sized Me, I refuse to eat McDonaldo and I have no withdrawals either. I admit, I had it once after but I started to get mad stomach cramps probably from all the salt and chemicals. I'll never eat that shit again.

And has anyone else ever notice that even the almost non-existing "non-smoking" section of J-McDonalds reaks badly of acrid cigarette smoke?
