Mobile Suit Gundam Boys Day Doll

Well know doll manufacturer Ichizo has come with with a special Mobile Suit Gundam creation for the Boys day festival in May. It is currently on display in the Ueno Matsuzakaya Department Store. It stands 70cm tall and the robot suit costs 126,000 yen while the doll cost 189,000 yen.

Asakusa-bashi is loaded with shops that sell nothing but ceremonial and holiday materials, so all through March and April they're advertising Boy's Day stuff. I found a similar display at one of the shops there a couple of years ago.
