I watched the first ep of the remake and I will say well done to all involved maybe....not maybebut yes I will watch more

to give credits, before the old 1980s tv seires there was a book, historical fiction drama novel by James Clavell.

I haven't seen the remake, but I can honestly say, without the novel, Shogun, there would be no American Oyaji.
Book changed my life.
