Fujiko Hemming Concert

Postby Big Booger » Sat Feb 19, 2005 10:20 pm

Just got back from a Fujiko Hemming concert in Osaka. It was really good. My wife enjoyed it more than I, but I liked it as well. She played well, considering she's nearly blind. She even played 3 encore pieces.

She played several Chopin pieces, Franz Liszt, and Claude Debussy were also featured.

It relaxed me and set the mood for the rest of our evening.

Wasn't she deaf before that?

Anyway, it must have been a nice concert. I've only seen her perform on TV & am jealous!

Yeah I think she got sick and became totally deaf or something. My wife was telling me all about her about 3 months ago when we got tickets to the concert.

It was worth it and the place was sold out... she's a big hit in Japan... I liked it and recommend it to anyone who enjoys piano tunes. :D
