Spooky considering it is based on a true story.

ABCNEWS.com Aug 21
...Shooting is now under way for the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Jessica Biel, best known as preacher's daughter Mary Camden on TV's 7th Heaven, leads the cast of youngsters who tangle with the cannibalistic power-tool lover known as "Leatherface."

In the age of product placement, one would imagine that this presents a great opportunity for the folks at Black & Decker. That's not yet happened. But Marilyn Manson has signed on to score Texas Chainsaw Massacre, a job no doubt he's been dying for.

I'll definitely check it out but it looks a little bit too glossy to comptete with the original.

Top five horror flicks of all time:

5)The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)
4)Psycho
3)Blair Witch
2) The Exorcist
Tied for first place: Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer/The Shining

Honorable mentions: Scream, Friday the 13th (original) , Jason X, Nightmare on Elm Street part 3, Jaws, The Thing, Evil Dead part two, Night of the Living Dead, Carrie

I just can't include Halloween. I never liked it that much.

yep,

They added a tad to the story to make it seem scarier, but there were some loons who killed people with chainsaws in Texas in 1973.
