BBC's Tokyo video clips: 'Rip it. Mix it. Share it.'

If you live in the UK ( ) the BBC has released a heap of their stock video under a free Creative Archive Licence.
BCC says, "Rip it. Mix it. Share it."
BBC's Creative Archive wrote:Image
Tokyo Skyline
Clip Description

A high angle shot of Tokyo buildings, with clouds in the background and traffic on the motorway. The scene changes to a very hazy, long shot of Tokyo skyscrapers, with the sun trying to come through the grey clouds and a pink-tinged [Dioxin-laden] sky...

not the most exciting of clips, i almost went to sleep watching the corner of the sumitomo building...

why do most of the first and last half of the clips consist of credits??

regardless, i may find somewhere to use these in a dvd im throwing together from living in japan - have about 15 minidv tapes full of footage.

Im finding iMovie (HD) extremely easy to work with, but my ibook dosent have a dvd burner - is it straight forward to transfer what i want to burn to my pc desktop - from what i can see the project file that is saved isnt compatible with xp software..?

Maybe my tech lameless is because I just woke up, but I tried viewing a clip and got shut down with a message saying I was not in the UK and couldn't download any clips. How did you guys get around this?

It accepted me & I guess I should be offended cause im in Ireland...

was reading a story on population change in britain
British Isles means England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland

- its only British people that include Ireland as part of the British Isles - Irish people would never phrase it that way.
and British TV presenters will always claim Irish actors and singers as being British: Samuel L Jackson had a funny response to an interviewers question about 'their homegrown talent':
In a British program about Samuel L Jackson and Colin Farrell's lastest movie SWAT presented by British presenter, Kate Thornton, the following exchange occured:

* Thornton: What was it like working with Colin (Farrell), cos he
o is just so hot in the U.K. right now?
* Jackson: He's pretty hot in the U.S. too.
* Thornton: Yeah, but he is one of our own.
* Jackson: Isn't he from Ireland?
* Thornton: Yeah, but we can claim him cos Ireland is beside us.
* Jackson: You see that's your problem right there. You British keep claiming people that don't belong to you. We had that problem here in America too, it was called slavery.
