Branded to Kill could pass for a lot of genres. The yakuza twist is there but it is really creepy. The DVD I have has three different versions. Some nastier than others.

Wait, three cuts of Branded? The U.S. Criterion DVD only has one cut of the movie. Where'd you get this version?

If you want Pinku-type Suzuki Seijun flicks, there is always Nikutai no Mon (Gates of Flesh) and Shunnpu-den (Story of a Prostitute?). Branded's pretty sexy though- I caught it in the theaters in 2002.
