Jesus with SkyPerfect and 300 channels plus four big networks you'd think it'd be possible to catch proper Olympic coverage here but NOOOOO.

NHK has used all the money they collect from Ma&Pa Jpn out in the countryside and bought ALL the rights to the Olympics and then chosen to provide nothing resembling modern-day coverage.

The hockey quarterfinals tonight (Wed eve) for example -- four great games all sorts of excitement but NHK will instead, at the same time they are happening, be showing a meaningless earlier round-robin game.

A crying shame...
