(The Real) Star Wars films coming to DVD

I ahven't been following all of the Star Wars releases over the years, so I wasn't aware that Lucas had tweaked the Cantina scene to show Han Solo shooting in self defense. Anyway, it doesn't matter much does it? Why re-release the movies yet again? Just to make more money?

Yup - you run outta cash real fast when your funding R&D for a Death Star... Ronald Regans holo-ghost appears to Lucas on a regular basis to get progress updates.

[floatr]Each original theatrical version will feature Dolby 2.0 Surround sound, close-captioning, and subtitles in English, French and Spanish for their U.S. release. International sound and subtitling vary by territory.
The most interesting thing I find about science fiction subtitling of movoes for Japan is that ALL the alien languages like Guido's threats to Han Solo are "translated" (in Guido's case Peruvian 'Quechua' language doubletalk) even though there is no script or any meaning to the alien dialog except context.
"Oota Goota Solo?"
(context translation: Going somewhere Solo?)

After I saw that piece of shit Revenge of the Shit, I decided that I wasn't going to give Lucus anymore of my money. In fact, I pawned my Ep. 1 and 2 DVDs to get some back. It matters a lot that Han shoots first. And the new shot of Greedo shooting first looks crap. I say go back and fix the new ones.
