I could never understand why Colombo was such a popular tv show here in Japan. Hell, I'm sure you can find one of his movies on most days of the week, even now. I sure hope people weren't trying to master English that way, or maybe that explains why so many people can't speak properly!

Now he can join the Wim Wenders angels for sure....(he was the worst part of Wings of Desire one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen and starring the bloke who would play Hitler in the Internet meme....).
