Tokyo (JCNN) - Launched on June 16, Datacraft's sozaijiten.com download service sells 30,000 royalty-free digital images, ranging from simple texture images to seasonal landscapes, on the company's website (http://www.sozaijiten.com/).
The user can search images by keyword or category and purchase an image with a credit card.
Prices are determined by resolution: 2,000 yen ($17) for 640x480 pixels, 7,000 yen ($59) for 2,950x2,094 pixels, and 20,000 yen ($169) for 4,156x2,950 pixels.

I'm just making a test of their graphics service---the real pix cost $$$. It's a real pain and expense to FTP and host pictures for these stories. GIS and services like this make it easy and FREE.
