Several times a week some Japanese desides to be traditional and jumps in front of the train (so 200,000+ other commuters will "notice"). While standing in a train car at 210% of capacity stuck between stations and stopped for the 30 minutes for the cleanup, most commuters feel like the jumper got away too easily.

I watched this video twice and could only think that this might indicate that there may be a new Japanese 'Jackass' copycat trend starting nowadays. But let's hope not.

Well, part of Jackass: The Movie was shot in Tokyo - including the amusing "Night Pandas" sketch. (A bunch of the Jackass crew put on panda costums and want romping through Tokyo one evening. It went over quite well with the Tokyoites. )
