You are invited to contribute your photos, audio files, video clips and stories of the Yamanote line: its stations, rolling stock, people, and neighborhoods.
Submission Guidelines
1. General: This site is a celebration of Tokyo's Yamanote line, so Yamanote line related submissions only, please. No pornography or offensive materials whether or not Yamanote related. Our morality (fairly lax) decides what is offensive.
2. Photographs: JPG format only, less than 30K, and with maximum dimensions of 300 x 300 pixels. Minimum size of 100 x 100. Anything in between is fine.
3. Audio: MP3 format only. File size under 1MB, please.
Video: Any web-ready, downloadable format is fine: Windows Media, MPEG, Quicktime, AVI. No streaming files. Please keep your files under 1 MB.
4. Stories: No longer than 250 words, please. Just like in school, grammar and spelling count.
5. Other Media: Please contact us with details. Flash, animations and cartoons, etc., will all be considered.
A humorous feature on the Yamanote Line platform at Hamamatsucho station. The costume worn is changed periodically to coincide with seasons or particular events.
