As French as SUSHI, right?

Image Via the DigitalSushi.net site....
Did you know that Sushi was invented in Japan, but it was invented by a Frenchman? In 1865, Tokyo, a Frenchman opened his french bakery in downtown Tokyo. But 100 years ago, Japanese did not understand western food, and therefore his business was slow. But as the French baker observed: Japanese people like raw fish. How about trying topping my French bread with raw fish for a change?...

Yes, and according to the Bolivians, the practice of going for a dip in onsens was invented by them, and later copied by the Japanese who before used onsen only for throwing stones and animals into.

Sashimi was invented by Californians in the 1970s, and the tea ceremony is actually a Jewish festival (the Japanese word "ocha" is a bastardization of the Yiddish word "kosher"). Samurai were originally from Finland. Hiragana? Well, the similarities with Arabic are striking.

Huh! What next? Tempura from Portugal?

Oh. Hang on ..
