The Japanese have even worst taste then Americans.

Movies, TV, music, anime other random J-pop culture phenomenons. Also film/video production, technical discussion, cast and crew calls, etc.

Good stuff like Seinfeld and The Simpsons get utterly ignored in Japan, while crap like Friends, ER and (god forbid) Full House are hits.

I don't want to hear anything about intelligent comedies being too hard to translate or for the Japanese to understand.. they just like shit.

Hey, I like ER and The Simpsons. The rest of those can fall off the face of the earth. I am certain however, that comedy is harder to translate than anything. I mean, look at what happens when you dub comedy anime!

They've been able to translate Beavis and Butthead...

Yep, they were playing Beavis and Butthead reruns in Japanese nonstop at a kitsch store in Harajuku the other day. It's weird to hear huh..hhhuuuh...huh in Japanese....
