...the over-the-top "signature rolls" are what make Blue Wasabi stand out. Believe me, you have as much chance of running into "sushi" rolls like these in Japan as you do of running into Mothra or Godzilla. They're the work of Blue Wasabi proprietor Jimmy Carlin and his mad-scientist sushi maestro, David Feimster, who once handled sushi catering at Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Carlin instructed him to "go crazy" creating "Americanized sushi." Mission accomplished.
