"Take and Give. Needs"

Postby Mulboyne » Thu Dec 09, 2004 6:02 pm

Take and Give. Needs is currently popular with foreign investors. The company has been growing gangbusters in Japan's "House Wedding" market. I still get hung up on the name. This post is in Media Fix because you need to know that this is the wedding planner featured in the TBS Sunday drama "Fufu"
Take and Give. Needs website (some English on top menu)
What is the origin of the name Take and Give. Needs? At Take and Give. Needs, we strive to constantly keep in touch with the current needs of the market and to provide services that fulfill them. Our name "Take and Give. Needs"expresses our commitment to "take" (understand) customer needs and to "give" valued services...T&G's house wedding concept was driven by the recent demand for weddings that allow couples to express their individuality and create parties that their guests can truly enjoy. Our theme was to produce weddings that could have come straight out of a glamorous European or American movie...The cost of a wedding in Japan is mainly determined by the number of guests attending the reception. Typically, the number of guests ranges between about 70-80 people in metropolitan areas and 100-120 people in regional areas...At present, the average cost of a T&G wedding is about 4.25 million yen. This is higher than the nationwide average cost of 2.83 million yen (in 2004). Despite the premium, we have gained the support of a large number of customers due to our policy of providing customized high-quality services for a very limited number of couples.

The company has started a new SNS site called meeto. The aim is to get members of wedding parties chattering away online about the event before and after; posting photographs and discussing what kind of backgroung music would be suitable.
