Ever been looking at a Japanese website, and need to quickly look up a word? Happens to me all the time...
If you're using IE, here's a cool link that will facilitate the above need :)
javascript{void(term=prompt('Enter ROMAJI Japanese word:',''))}if(term)javascript{window.open('http://www.solon.org/cgi-bin/j-e/sjis/dosearch?sDict=on&H=PS&L=J&T='+escape(term)+'&WC=none',"CtrlWindow","toolbar=yes,menubar=yes,location=yes,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,status=yes");}window.height=window.height
First, make a new Favorite. Next, go to your new Favorite entry, and right-click on it to edit its Properties. Now, simply cut&paste the above code into the url field. IE may give you an error about java-script protocol... but don't worry, it should still work.
Now, when you click your new Favorite, it'll bring up a dialog-box asking for a word in romaji... and then pop-up a window with the definition (if it exists)!
I just used it for "Maezumo"... which is aparently my ranking on this board... heheh ;) Anyways, enjoy! I hope you'll find it as useful as I have...
