O_O; oh my f*cking god. My boyfriend is out of his mind, he's trying to teach me the way he learned, which was by learning 100 words a day, which took about 3 months. It helps he has a freaking photographic memory >_< sigh~ so, any suggestions on ways to keep all those bloody words in my head? Hell, any suggestions on words I should learn (or where to learn them)? go go nihongo~
One of the easiest ways to commit vocab to memory is by learning and practicing the kanji. This usual starts more at an intermediate level, but for every kanji, or combination you learn, you are automatically committing that vocab to memory.
The next would be flash cards, but without some conversational use the words tend to disappear from your rote list pretty fast.
But, 100 words a day? Good luck..
"There are those that learn by reading. Then a few who learn by observation. The rest have to piss on an electric fence and find out for themselves!"- Will Rogers
Even with a photographic memory that is still nearly impossible. At the most, you would only be able to memorize the meanings without actually "actively" being able to use most of the words. Keep in mind that no matter what anyone claims, everyone is human. Even the greatest geniuses in our known history had human limits.
