Isn't almost the entire point of interviewing professional sports players in the states that they are almost guaranteed to say something stupid and or controversial?

I mean, how often have any of us ever seen an interview with a sports player where we thought they were saying something really worthwhile? :p

The only examples that spring to mind are when they are speaking for some sort of charity or cause and even then they manage to screw things up half the time.

They knew he would say something like that when they brought up the Japan trip in the interview. He is Pap after all...an ignorant little boy.
