It's Korea....I think China is the only other country that rivals them when it comes to all kinds of shady cheating and scandals when it comes to Olympic/international competitions.

Well, the JOC guy has already said that he saw the video showing Tomita removing the lens from the camera and shoving the body in his bag.

I mean ... some shady Asian-looking guy walks up and shoves a camera in his bag? He then proceeds to return to the hotel without even looking to see what the guy put in his bag? Tomita says he thought it was trash and was going to throw it in a trash can, but couldn't find one. I dunno ... that's a big, heavy (and expensive) camera body there.

Right now there's just a huge scramble to avoid embarrassment going on, I think.

I figure that there is media and he has enough backing that he doesn't have to do much time behind bars. Bail? Not even sure of the theft laws in Korea, but i bet that they are happy they get to publicly shame a Japanese.
