converting Mp3 to WAV...best software??

converting Mp3 to WAV...best software??

I sometimes need to convert Mp3 files to WAV to make a CD I tried "dbpowerAMP music converter" (trial) worked OK the first time but not after that.

has anyone used anything the works well?

You can do it all in itunes preferences if you have itunes.

I think it's odd that in the U.S. we say Wave file. In the UK they say, Wav (rhymes with "have"). Odd to me anyway.

Yeah, itunes is ok. go to the preferences select importing "import as mp3, wav, aiff etc etc" then click the advanced menu and what ever you selected as your import you can then convert to the format by highlighting the track and selecting "conver selected track to wav/aiff etc"

i use it all da time

you call 'em waves in the states? 'ere well corl dem wavz coz we iz proper cockneee innit bredren.

If you want a good mp3 decoder for the pc, I use Razorlame, works well and it's free.
